Description
The Old Vicarage is a former vicarage that has been converted into a private house. It was built around 1850 in the Tudor style. The structure is made of stone rubble with freestone dressings and features a slate roof with stone coped gable ends, complete with finials and kneelers. The building has two storeys and an attic, with an irregular plan. It includes ovolo moulded stone mullion windows that have dripmoulds, along with gable and gabled dormers on the west elevation. There is a stone oriel on the north side facing the road. The entrance porch is located at the angle of the east wing and features a four-centred arch doorway topped with a stone cross over the gable. Additionally, there is a gabled dormer on the east side supported by corbels, and plain red brick chimney stacks.
