Description

Cherry Cottage is a single cottage that dates from the 18th century or earlier. It features washed rubble walls and a thatched roof with gable ends. There are two brick stacks, one at each gable. The cottage has a symmetrical facade with two storeys and three wooden three-light casement windows that include glazing bars and wooden cills. The front door, made of planks, is centrally located and is sheltered by a 20th-century wooden boarded porch with a hipped thatch roof. At the far gable end, there is a 20th-century extension that has a pentice roof.
