Description

Old Cross is a single cottage dating from around 1700. It features stone walls that are roughcast and colourwashed, topped with a thatch roof that has gable ends. There are two brick stacks located at the left and right gables. The building has an L-plan layout, with a long rear wing extending down Wootton Lane.

On the southeast elevation, the cottage stands two storeys high and has three light wooden casements with leaded glass, all set on wooden cills. The front door is centrally located and has a wooden frame with a panelled wooden door. Inside, there is a large open fireplace on the right-hand gable wall, and the front room has flagstones.
