Description
The War Memorial in Whitchurch Canonicorum is a First World War memorial built around the 1920s. It features an octagonal stone base consisting of three steps, leading up to an octagonal plinth that displays the names of the fallen. Above this, there is an octagonal shaft with a moulded base and a top adorned with foliage. The memorial is topped with a cross that has roll-moulds and voluted foliage terminals. The entire structure stands approximately 12 feet high from the top of the steps.
