Description
Church Cottage is a single cottage dating from the 18th century. It features stone rubble walls that have been washed and a thatch roof with a hipped end on the left and a gabled end on the right. There are two rendered brick stacks, one at each gable end. The cottage is 1½ storeys high and has three windows, which are wooden casements with two lights and glazing bars. At the center, there is a 20th-century porch that is roughcast and has a hipped thatch roof. One of the windows has lozenge lights. Inside, there is an open fireplace at the right-hand end with a wooden lintel that is chamfered with run-out stops. The left-hand end has a one-bay extension that is single-storey and also has a thatch roof.
