Description

Little Cheverell War Memorial is a First World War memorial that was erected in 1921. It is made of stone and stands approximately 3 meters tall. The memorial features a plain Latin cross that rises from the moulded top of an octagonal plinth, which is set on a two-stepped octagonal platform. The plinth is inscribed with the words: IN GRATEFUL / MEMORY / OF / THOSE WHO DIED / IN OUR DEFENCE / (NAMES).
