Description

Wramplingham War Memorial is a First World War memorial, erected around 1920, with an addition for the Second World War. It is made of stone and is prominently located at the junction of Wymondham Road and The Street.

The memorial features a Latin cross on a tall shaft that tapers in square section from a hexagonal plinth, which sits atop a single-stepped hexagonal base. The north-east face of the plinth is inscribed with the years 1914 - 1918, along with the names of the fallen inscribed below and on the other faces of the plinth.
