Description

First World War memorial, erected around 1920, with a Second World War addition.

MATERIALS: stone.

DESCRIPTION: Wramplingham War Memorial is located in a prominent roadside position at the junction between Wymondham Road and The Street.

The memorial comprises a Latin cross on a tall shaft which tapers in square section from an hexagonal plinth atop a single-stepped hexagonal base.

The north-east face of the plinth is inscribed 1914 - 1918 with the names of the fallen inscribed below and on the other faces of the plinth.
