Description

The War Memorial at Queen's College is a First World War memorial, erected around 1920, with later additions for the Second World War. It is made of carved stone and features a Latin cross with an octagonal shaft and cross arm, which stands on a three-stepped octagonal base. The west and east faces of the second step of the platform are inscribed with ‘1914-1919’, while the north and south faces are inscribed with ‘1939-1945’.
