Description

This is a boundary marker from the late 19th century, made of cast iron. It has a triangular shape with a sloping top, standing about 400 millimeters high and 200 millimeters wide. The marker features raised lettering on the left side that reads "TTC" for Taunton Town Council, while the right side is blank. On the angled head, the word "Boundary" is inscribed. This marker indicates the boundary between the former Taunton Municipal Borough and Taunton Rural District Council.
