Description
This is a county boundary marker located on the north side of Bradford Road in Combe Down, dated 1912. It is made of cast iron and features a hollow triangular post that supports a canted triangular top. The marker is partially buried by the pavement and stands approximately 600 millimeters high. It is painted white, with raised black lettering that reads '1912' at the top, 'SOMERSET C C' to the right, and 'CITY OF BATH' to the left. Although the boundaries have changed since its installation, this marker serves as a valuable historical reminder of the former situation. It is positioned directly opposite another parish boundary marker on the south side of Bradford Road.
