Description
Greendown House is a detached house built in 1806, constructed from dressed stone with a slate roof. The house is set back from the road in its garden, facing south, and is connected to the street by a former cottage behind a boundary wall. This wall extends to the right, bordering the Jews' Burial Ground. The building is designed as a gable house with two storeys and features a one-and-two window arrangement. The ground floor has four-pane sash windows, with two sashes positioned close together on the left, in a section that may have been added as a bay to the original house. On the right side, there is a doorway with a flat-roofed glazed porch. The gables are coped, each featuring a stack, and there is an additional ridge stack off-centre to the left. The east return displays three differing gables. The panelled doorway faces Bradford Road. The interior has not been inspected.
