Description
Nos 7 and 9 Cheverell Road are two mid-19th century cottages arranged in a row. They are constructed of large bricks in Flemish bond and feature a slate roof. Each cottage is two storeys high and consists of two bays with a central stair hall. No 7 retains its original four-panelled door set in a trellis gabled porch, along with 16-pane sash windows that are deeply set in openings with arched heads. The door and windows of No 9 have been replaced later. Both cottages have brick stacks topped with crown type clayware pots and lean-to extensions at the rear.
