Description

Nos 15 and 17 Rodden Row are two attached cottages dating from the mid-19th century. They feature coursed rubble-stone walls with dressed stone jambs and a slate roof with boxed eaves. There are brick stacks at the left-hand gable and at the ridge, in the center. The cottages are two storeys tall and have a total of five windows.

No 15 has two-light cast-iron casements with rectangular panes and wooden cills, along with shutters on the ground floor windows. No 17 has sash windows with thin glazing bars, wooden frames, and cills. The front doors differ: No 15 has a centrally located flush-panelled door with two upper lights, while No 17 has a wooden door with a glazed upper part, dating from the 20th century. All ground floor openings feature segmental heads.
