Description
Nos 20 and 22 Rodden Row are two attached houses built in the late 18th century, with some alterations made in the 19th century. The houses feature rubble-stone walls and a thatched roof with gable ends. There are brick stacks located at the left-hand gable, the centre ridge, and the right-hand gable. The buildings are 2 ½ storeys tall and have five windows. No 20 has 2- and 3-light casements with rectangular panes and segmental brick arches above. No 22 has 2- and 3-light wooden casements with wooden lintels above. There is a canted bay window at the left-hand side of the ground floor of No 22, which is a 20th-century addition with casements and a hipped tile roof. The front door of No 20 is made of wood and features multi-glass lights with a brick arch above, while No 22 has a plank door that is studded and includes one glass light, also from the 20th century.
