Description

Nos 10 and 12 Rodden Row are two attached cottages dating from the 18th century, located on the north side of Rodden Row in Abbotsbury. The cottages feature rubble-stone walls with straight joints between them and have a thatch roof, which has a lower ridge on the left side. There are rebuilt brick stacks at the left-hand ridge (party), the centre ridge, and the right-hand side. The buildings are two storeys high and have three windows, which are irregularly arranged 2- and 3-light wooden casements with glazing bars, mostly renewed, with the upper left window dating from the 18th century. The cottages have plank doors; No 10 is located on the right-hand side, while No 12 is positioned left of centre, immediately to the left of the straight joint.
