Description

No. 2 Rodden Row is a cottage that was originally two separate cottages, rebuilt in the 19th century from earlier materials. The building features shallow rubble-stone walls with dressed stone quoins and a hipped slate roof at the right end. There are brick stacks located at the left party wall and to the right of the center ridge, which was once a party wall. The cottage has two storeys and three windows: the upper floor has two-light wooden casements with wooden cills, while the ground floor has a three-light window, both with segmental brick arches. The entrance includes a 20th-century plank-and-muntin door and a plank porch. There is also a blocked doorway towards the right end of the building.
