Description

Nos 16 and 18 Rodden Row are two attached cottages located at the end of the row, dating from the 18th century. They feature rubble-stone walls with a stone plinth and dressed stone quoins. The cottages have a thatched roof that is hipped at the left-hand end. There are brick stacks at the centre ridge, which were added in the 20th century, and a stone stack with a brick capping at the right-hand party wall, dating from the 18th century. The buildings are two storeys high and have four windows, which are 2-light wooden casements with glazing bars, mostly in their original openings. The windows have wooden cills and lintels. There are plank doors located at the left-hand centre and at the right-hand end, both with weatherboards, wooden frames, and a lintel above.
