Description

Shepherd Glass and No 14 is a shop and attached cottage dating from the 18th century, located on the north side of Rodden Row in Abbotsbury. The building features rubble-stone walls and a thatched roof that extends continuously into the adjacent cottages on either side. There are brick stacks located at the left-hand party wall, left of centre on the ridge, and at the right-hand party wall. The structure is two storeys high and has three windows: two-light wooden casements on the upper floor and three-light casements on the ground floor, all with segmental brick arches. The shop premises on the right side have wide two-leaf plank doors, while the front door to No 14 is a 20th-century plank door with a slight plank porch.
