Description
Nos 63 and 65 High Street are two houses built in the early to mid-18th century, located on the east side of West Lavington. They are constructed of colourwashed brick with flush stone quoins and feature a slate roof. The buildings are two storeys high, consisting of four structural bays and six windows. The fourth bay contains a four-panelled door with a stone eared architrave, while there is a secondary door to No 63 situated between the first and second window bays. A moulded string course runs above the main door. The windows are reserved chamfer moulded 2-light designs, with later timber casements added. Inside No 65, the right bay retains its original parlour, which includes a chamfered spine beam and a large bolection moulded fireplace on the rear wall, along with an angle stack in the first bay.
