Description
No. 69 High Street is a house dating from the early to mid-18th century. It is constructed of colourwashed brick and features a tiled roof. The building has two storeys and an attic, with three bays, and an additional pantiled bay to the left over an open carriageway. The central entrance consists of a six-panelled door that has a stone moulded surround and a stone floating cornice, although this is now obscured by a timber canopy supported by brackets. The windows are three-light stone-mullioned with inset reserve chamfered mouldings. The roof is sprocketed and includes two gabled dormers, as well as a stack on the rear pitch to the right. At the back, the roof extends down over narrow service rooms.
