Description

The wall forming the eastern boundary to the garden of West Lavington Manor is a 17th-century structure built in a variant of English bond. It features coping made of splayed brick and a 22cm brick top, which is partly cogged below the offset. The wall stands approximately 3.3 meters high and follows the change in land level. There is a blocked gateway located about 26 meters from the south end. The total length of the wall is approximately 165 meters, with a short return on the north side that includes a pedestrian gate. Additionally, there is flat tile coping added to the top.
