Description
Pyt House is an early 19th-century house located on the north side of Duck Street in West Lavington. It is constructed of greensand rubble faced with brick and features a slate roof. The building has two storeys and three bays, designed with a central stair hall plan that creates a symmetrical elevation. A small open brick porch, added in the later 19th century, leads to a six-panelled door. The ground floor has tripartite 16-pane sash windows with three-centred gauged brick arches, while the first floor features 16-pane sashes with gauged lintels. The roof is hipped, and there are four tall octagonal brick stacks.
