Description

This is a 17th-century cottage located on the east side of High Street in West Lavington, set at an angle to the road. It is constructed of colourwashed rubble with a thatched roof. The original three-bay plan was extended to the right with a fourth bay. An off-centre glazed door is sheltered by a tiled canopy. The windows are 19th-century timber casements, each with three lights. The steeply pitched roof has three dormers to the upper floor, with the dormer over the third bay being enlarged in the 20th century. A stack is present on the left gable. A lean-to addition to the rear has a pantiled roof.
