Description
Preston House is a 17th-century house constructed from coursed limestone rubble, topped with a 20th-century Bridgewater tiled roof. The building is two stories high and features a two-bay lobby entry, along with a 19th-century cross wing at the north-west end. A 20th-century porch has been added to the front. The house has 19th-century timber casement windows with timber lintels. Inside, the fireplaces have been blocked. The left room serves as the original parlour and showcases a chamfered spine beam with ogee stops and an incised diamond pattern.
