Description

This 18th-century milestone is located opposite No 23 Calne Road in Lyneham. It is made of sarsen stone, which is peck dressed at the rear. The milestone features a round head and has the following inscriptions: "To SWINDON 10 MILES" and "To CALNE 5 MILES."
