Description

57 The Green is a 17th-century farmhouse that has been converted into a house. It is constructed of brick and features a thatched roof. The building originally consists of two bays with a gable stack, and it was extended to the right by one bay in the 18th century, along with the addition of lean-tos. The forward bay has a lateral stack. The brickwork is whitewashed, and there are 20th-century timber casement windows, as well as 16-pane windows on the left extension. Inside, the parlour in the left bay has a scratched date of 1690 on the chimney breast. An attached cottage on the left is not included in this listing.
