It features a hipped thatched roof with raised dormers and is designed with one storey and an attic. The cottage has a three-bay lobby entry and a hipped extension on the left side. There is a gable stack and an axial stack located between the second and third bays. A 20th-century brick extension is present at the rear. The windows are timber casement style with timber lintels. Additionally, there is a thatched porch over the service entry in the left extension. The timber framing is exposed only in the right end bay, which has two panels high.
