Description

Jessups Cottage is a 18th-century house made of painted brick with a thatched roof and an east end chimney. It is a single storey building with an attic and features a double front. The cottage has leaded casement windows, with two located in thatched gabled dormers on either side of a central door. The door is set within a picturesque thatched gabled porch that includes weatherboard and barge boards on the gable. The windows have original iron opening lights, and the ground floor windows feature cambered heads and cambered-headed lights. There is also a plank stable door with a cambered head. The west end wall is constructed of rubble stone.
