Description
The churchyard gate to the west of the Church of St Laurence was built around 1840. It features two ashlar piers that rest on square bases, with square shafts that have chamfered angles. Above the shafts is a moulded course, and the top sections are octagonal with moulded stepped caps. The gate itself is made of iron and includes dog-bars and fleur-de-lys heads. This gate is likely contemporary with the west tower of the church.
