Description
Pear Tree Cottage is a 18th-century house located on Goatacre Lane in Hilmarton. It features painted brick construction and a thatched half-hipped roof with end stacks. The cottage has one and a half storeys and is adorned with leaded casement windows. There are two pairs of casement windows under eyebrows and one window with a cambered head on the ground floor to the right. The left side of the ground floor has two small windows, likely from the 20th century. The building has a rubble stone plinth, flush quoins, and some rubble stone in the end walls. The west end wall includes a gabled brick porch, while the east end has a 20th-century garage attached.
