Description

Heathayne Cottage is an 18th-century house located near Heathayne Cross. It is constructed of plastered stone rubble and cob, with a thatched roof featuring half-hipped ends. The house is two storeys high and originally had four bays, though the left-hand bay is a modern addition. The windows are modern casements, featuring two and three lights with glazing bars. A flush panel door is positioned on the right-hand side and is sheltered by a thatched hood. Brick chimney stacks rise from the ridge of the roof.
