Description

The mill building at the rear of No. 3 Silver Street dates from the mid-19th century. It is two storeys high and constructed of red brick, featuring stone quoins and dressings, including impost stones. The building has ten windows, with the first-floor windows being round-headed and having raised surrounds and keys. There are three similar, blocked windows on the south side. The east side is characterized by gutter brackets and wall buttresses that interrupt the cill band. The roof is hipped and covered with double Roman tiles, adorned with terra cotta cresting and occasional ornament.
