Description

This is a late 18th or early 19th century, two-storey, end-of-terrace building. It has a front of painted ashlar, side piers, a moulded cornice, and a parapet above a double Roman tile roof, featuring stunted gable end chimneys. There are three glazing bar sash windows on the first floor, the central one being narrower. Originally, there was a cill string, but this has been obscured by a fine, mid-19th century projecting shop front with carved consoles to a dentil and palmette cornice, and a central entrance. The side front is of rubble, with a pitched path and a rounded corner to the south. The roof to the south has stone-tiled base courses. A brick pantiled extension is present to the rear, featuring a casement window within its gable. A small courtyard has large casement windows with leaded frames on the first floor, and two small first-floor glazing bar sash windows are in the gable to the east. Nos 5 to 7 form a group with Nos 9 and 10.
