Description

The house at the rear of No 42 Fore Street is an early to mid-18th century building constructed of painted brick with occasional header courses. It stands three storeys tall with an attic and features a mansarded roof covered in pantiles, which includes three dormers with two lights each. The first floor has three paired glazing bar sash windows, partially obscured by ivy, each with segmental over arches. The central door is aligned with the middle window. To the left, there is a modern lean-to shed, and a large chimney stack, which has a rubble base, also on the left side, serves a small two-storey shed adjacent to it.
