Description
The stable building at the rear of No 41 Fore Street is an early to mid-18th century brick structure with stone dressings. It has been raised in modern times and features a non-descript roof. To the right, it is somewhat enclosed by modern two-storey brick buildings that are positioned at right angles. The building has three remaining windows, which are paired glazing bar casements with raised surrounds that have beaded inner edges, and one remaining drip mould. There is a three-centred arch to the left with a keystone. Although the interior has been altered, it still retains a flagged passage leading to the internal three-centred arch. This building is now essentially part of No 41 Fore Street.
