Description

FORE STREET 1. 5411 (North East Side) Stable building at rear of No 41 ST 8557 7/251A II

  1. Early-mid C18 brick building with stone dressings, raised in modern times and having a non-descript roof. Somewhat enclosed to right by modern 2 storey brick buildings at right angles. 3 remaining windows: paired glazing bar casements with raised surrounds having beaded inner edges, 1 remaining drip mould. Ground floor windows altered. Three centred arch to left with keystone. Interior altered but retains flagged passage to internal 3 centred arch. This building now basically part of No 41 Fore Street.
