Description

No. 41 Fore Street is a mid-18th century, two-storey town house that was originally an elegant building faced with Bath stone. It features rustic quoins, a dentil cornice that breaks forward over the quoins, and a parapet with a moulded coping. The roof has been lowered, and the front has been painted. The first floor has four windows with glazing bar sashes, while the ground floor has been altered for modern shop premises. This property is part of a group that includes Nos. 37 to 44 (consecutive), No. 38A, and Nos. 46 to 48 (consecutive), along with No. 13 Church Walk. No. 43 is noted for its local interest.
