Description

Nos 23 and 24 on Silver Street are mid-19th century buildings that stand three storeys tall, each featuring two windows. The front is rendered and divided into rectangular panels by side piers, with a lintel band on the first floor and a frieze beneath a modillion cornice topped with a blocking course. The plate glass sashes have keystones. There are modern shop fronts, and to the right, a round-headed through passage doorway also features a keystone. Traces of a moulded band can be seen over the ground floor.
