Description

No. 16 on Silver Street is a late 18th century to early 19th century, three-storey house constructed of painted ashlar. The building is two windows wide and features glazing bar sash windows, with single hung windows on the second floor. The first floor has a cill band and a band above it. The roof is slate, supported by moulded gutter brackets and kneelers at the coped verges. There are modern shop fronts at the ground level. At the rear, there is an older rubble building with a chamfered brick corner to the southwest.
