Description
Unit 5, Mill House Estate is a mill building from the early to mid-19th century, now unoccupied. It is constructed of coursed squared stone and features a 20th-century corrugated iron roof. The building has four storeys and three bays. The openings have plain stone surrounds, and the windows are fitted with flat-faced mullions. On the ground floor, there are doorways on the left and right, with a third doorway that has been blocked. The first floor has a blocked rectangular opening with a dressed surround. The second floor contains three 2-light windows, while the third floor features a shorter former 2-light window on the right. The building is adorned with paired gutter brackets and is part of a larger mill complex, included for its group value.
