SOWERBY BRIDGE ROCHDALE ROAD SE 0422 and SE 0522 (east side, off) 15/198 Units 17 and 18, Mill House Estate - GV II Mill building, probably warehouse, now industrial premises. Mid C19 . Coursed squared stone, stone slate roof. 3 storeys, 10 bays. 6-pane windows with stone lintels and projecting cills. On ground floor a door to bay 1 and inserted garage door to bays 7 and 8. Bay 4 is a loading bay and has a hoist under a coped gable which breaks through eaves. Modillion cornice. Hipped roof. Part of mill complex. In state of disrepair at time of resurvey.
