Description

Wharf Mill is a red brick mill building dating from 1885. It is four storeys high, with an attic, and originally had six windows, though these have been replaced with modern windows set within cambered heads. The building features an eaves cornice and a slate roof. A wing was added to the left side in 1970. The mill is built upon a three-arch bridge with red brick walls. While the interior was gutted and modernized in 1970, the building retains visual interest.
