Description

The Black Boy Public House is a public house dating from 1833, located on Wharf Hill. It is constructed of painted brick and features two storeys with three windows, which contain 19th-century sashes set in flush frames. The entrance has a central six-panel door topped with a bracketed hood. The building is finished with a modillion cornice and has a tiled roof with brick end stacks.
