Description

Vine Cottage is a group of three cottages located at Dorchester Road in Broadwey, Weymouth. They were built in the early to mid 19th century and are constructed from squared and coursed stone with a slate roof. The cottages are two storeys high. On the upper level, there are three 4-pane sash windows in flush boxes, featuring brick dressings with haunched segmental heads. The ground floor of No. 565 has a 4-pane window and a flat-roofed extension over the door. No. 563 has a 20th-century door beneath a small inserted first-floor light. The gable facing the road has a sash window on each floor, and the low-pitched hipped roof is topped with two ridge stacks. The interior has not been inspected.
