Description

Millstream Cottage is a house attached to a former mill, built in the mid-19th century, likely around 1846 when the adjoining South Mill was raised. The cottage is constructed from squared rubble and features a slate roof. It has two storeys and two windows, with three-light small-pane wood casements set in segmental heads with stone voussoirs, and a central 20th-century door. Each gable end has a brick stack, with the left stack shared with the South Mill. The right gable has three small casements, and there is a large 20th-century extension at the rear.
