Description
Mill Cottages is a pair of semi-detached cottages dating from the early 19th century. They are built from coursed and squared rubble and have a slate roof. The cottages are positioned gable-end to the street and feature one window above two replacement windows. The main front has two storeys with one window on the upper floor and one window on the lower floor, consisting of three-light small-pane casements set on wooden sills, with stone segmental heads at the ground floor. To the left, No. 1 has an early 19th-century flush panelled door, while No. 2 to the right has a 20th-century glazed door. The cottages have a large central ridge stack and an additional central eaves stack at the rear, with a small light on either side at eaves level.
