Description

Elm Cottages is a pair of cottages dating from the early 19th century. They are constructed from coursed rubble stone with alternating flush quoins and feature a stone slate roof with stone end stacks. The cottages have a single front range, with a rear extension to No 1 (on the right) and a lean-to at the back of No 2. They are two storeys high and have three windows: two on No 2 and one on No 1, all of which are paired metal casements. On the ground floor, there are three windows with doors between them, all featuring plain boarded designs and timber lintels. Despite their modest size, these cottages are complete as originally designed.
