Description
Wormwood Farm Cottages is a pair of cottages dating from the late 18th century. They are built from rubble stone and feature slate roofs with coped gables, end wall stacks, and a ridge stack at the original end wall. The cottages are two storeys high. The original pair has flush quoins and a one-window range of 2-light flush cyma-moulded mullion windows for each cottage, with doors in chamfered doorcases to the left. The door to No 1 is located in a gabled ashlar porch with stone tiles and a shallow arched entry. The door to No 2 has a hood supported on brackets. No 2 has been extended to the right with an additional window range that includes similar but longer 19th-century two-light windows.
