Description

The barn located to the west of Gable Cottage dates from the late 18th century. It is constructed of rubble stone and features a Bridgwater tiled roof with coped gables. The barn has opposed flush cart entries with timber lintels, and a lower entry at the rear. There are vent loops in the walls and a small pointed opening at the apex of the east gable. The west end has a boarded upper opening. Inside, the barn has a seven-bay roof supported by tie-beam trusses.
