Description
The stable range located to the north-west of Wadswick Farmhouse is a collection of outbuildings dating from the late 18th century and earlier. Constructed from rubble stone, the buildings feature Bridgwater tile roofs along with some stone tiles. The layout is in an L-shape.
At the west end, there is a two-storey stable with a loft above. This stable has flush quoins and an upper loading door with a vent loop on each side, as well as a ground floor door set in a flush surround. To the right of this door, there is a two-light recessed mullion window, which is likely a reused feature.
Attached to the east is a lower L-shaped cattle stall that is open to the south. This stall has a gabled outbuilding connected to its southern end. The outbuilding has a mix of stone tiling and features a door in a flush surround with voussoirs above. To the left of this door, there are two small recessed lancets, which may also be reused elements.
