Description
The entrance gates and coach house at Hazelbury Manor date from the later 17th century. The entrance gate piers are made of banded ashlar and feature moulded cornices, pulvinated friezes, and ball finials. To the west, there is a short length of rubble stone wall that connects to the coach house, which is a rubble stone outbuilding topped with a Bridgwater tile roof and coped gables. The west end of the coach house has a timber-lintel cart entry, which appears to be a later alteration, as the structure above has paired arched dripmoulds that were likely originally intended for two arched entries. The roof of the coach house is a three-bay tie-beam-and-angle-strut trussed design with triple purlins and remnants of thatch.
